Pongal is a festival where working people give thanks to nature. It is a traditional festival of farmers. On this day of Pongal, we need to focus on four things.
1. Thanksgiving.
Pongal to the sun as a face to thank the land, the sun and the cow for adopting good yields throughout the year. The main purpose of this day is to eradicate hunger, sickness and enmity and to bless everyone to live in peace. Although nature makes an important contribution to the survival of all living beings, many still do not love nature.
2. The excellence of labor
A farmer is one who works and lives for others and for himself. Yet today, working people worldwide face a wide variety of problems. It is a gift from the Lord of Nature but today natural resources are being destroyed within the liberal environment.
3. The old is gone and the new is gone.
We need to remove not only the old things we used to have but also all the evil qualities like jealousy, anger, rivalry within us and transform ourselves into new human beings who are loving, compassionate and helpful to all.
4. Trust
We need to strengthen ourselves and others to face our problems with the hope that the way will be born if we are born.
So we will continue to fight against injustice on the feast day of the working people for the survival of others just as we live with these issues in mind.
பொங்கல் பண்டிகை என்பது, உழைக்கும் மக்கள் இயற்கைக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும் நிகழ்வாகும். இது உழவர்களின் பாரம்பரிய திருநாளுமாகும். இப் பொங்கல் பண்டிகையை கொண்டாடும் இந்த நாளில் நான்கு விடயங்கள் தொடர்பாக நாம் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும்.
1. நன்றி செலுத்துதல்.
வருடம் முழுவதும் நல்ல விளைச்சலை தத்தமைக்கு நிலம், சூரியன் மற்றும் மாட்டுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும் முகமாக சூரியனுக்கு பொங்கல் படைத்தல். மேலும் பசி, பிணி, பகைமை நீங்கி நிம்மதியாக வாழ அனைவருக்கும் அருள் புரியுமாறு வேண்டுவதே இந்நாளின் முக்கிய நோக்கமாகும்.அனைத்து உயிர்களும் வாழ்வதற்கு இயற்கை முக்கிய பங்களிப்பு வழங்கினாலும் பலர் இன்னும் இயற்கையை நேசிப்பதில்லை.
2. உழைப்பின் உன்னதம்
உழவன் பிறருக்காகவும், தனக்கவும் உழைத்து வாழ்பவன். ஆனாலும் இன்று உலகளாவிய மட்டத்தில் உழைக்கும் மக்கள் பல்வேறு வகையான இன்னல்களுக்கு முகம் கொடுக்கின்றார்கள். இயற்க்கை இறைவன் கொடுத்த கொடை ஆனாலும் இன்று லிபரல்வாத சூழலுக்குள் இயற்கை வளங்கள் அழிக்கப்படுகின்றது.
3. பழையன கழிதலும், புதியன புகுதலும்.
நாம் பாவித்த பழைய பொருட்களை மட்டுமல்ல எமக்குள் இருக்கும் பொறாமை, கோபங்கள், போட்டிகள் போன்ற அனைத்து தீய குணங்களையும் நாம் நீக்கி புதிய மனிதர்களாக அன்பு, கருணை கொண்டவர்களாக அனைவருக்கும் உதவி செய்பவர்களாக எம்மை மாற்றி கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
4. நம்பிக்கை வைத்தல்
தை பிறந்தால் வழி பிறக்கும் என நம்பிக்கையுடன் எமது பிரச்சினைகளுக்கு முகம் கொடுக்க எம்மை நாமே வலுப்படுத்திக் கொள்வதோடு ஏனையவர்களையும் வலுப்படுத்த வேண்டும்.
ஆகவே இவ்வாடயங்களை கவனத்தில் கொண்டு நாம் வாழ்வதை போலவே ஏனையவர்களும் வாழ்வதற்க்கு உழைக்கும் மக்கள் திருநாளில் நாம் அநீதிக்கு எதிராக தொடர்ந்து போராடுவோம்.
පොංගල් යනු වැඩ කරන ජනතාව සොබාදහමට ස්තූති කරන උත්සවයකි. එය ගොවීන්ගේ සාම්ප්රදායික උත්සවයකි. මෙම පොංගල් දිනයේදී අප කරුණු හතරක් කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කළ යුතුය.
1. ස්තූති කිරීම.
අවුරුද්ද පුරා හොඳ අස්වැන්නක් ලබා ගැනීම ගැන ගොඩබිමට, සූර්යයාට සහ ගවයාට ස්තූති කිරීමක් ලෙස සූර්යයාට පොංගල් පූජා කරයි දවසේ ප්රධාන අරමුණ වන්නේ කුසගින්න, අසනීප හා සතුරුකම තුරන් කිරීම සහ සාමයෙන් ජීවත් වීමට සැමට ආශීර්වාද කිරීමයි. සියලු ජීවීන්ගේ පැවැත්මට සොබාදහම වැදගත් දායකත්වයක් ලබා දුන්නද බොහෝ දෙනෙක් තවමත් සොබාදහමට ආදරය නොකරති.
2. ශ්රමයේ විශිෂ්ටත්වය
ගොවියෙක් යනු අන් අය වෙනුවෙන් සහ තමා වෙනුවෙන් වැඩ කරන හා ජීවත් වන අයෙකි. එහෙත් අද වන විට ලොව පුරා වැඩ කරන ජනතාව විවිධ ගැටලුවලට මුහුණ දී සිටිති. එය සොබාදහමේ ස්වාමීන්වහන්සේගේ ත්යාගයක් වන නමුත් අද වන විට ලිබරල් පරිසරය තුළ ස්වාභාවික සම්පත් විනාශ වෙමින් පවතී.
3. පැරණි දේ අමතක කර අලුත් දේවල් ජීවිතයට එකතු කරගැනීම
අප සතුව තිබූ පැරණි දේ පමණක් නොව, අප තුළ ඇති ඊර්ෂ්යාව, කෝපය, එදිරිවාදිකම් වැනි සියලු නපුරු ගුණාංග ඉවත් කර, සියල්ලන්ටම ප්රේමණීය, දයානුකම්පිත සහ ප්රයෝජනවත් නව මනුෂ්යයන් බවට පරිවර්තනය විය යුතුය.
4. විශ්වාසය
අප වෙනස් වුනොත් මාර්ගය ඉපදෙනු ඇතැයි යන බලාපොරොත්තුව ඇතිව අපගේ ගැටලුවලට මුහුණ දීම සඳහා අප සහ අන් අය ශක්තිමත් කළ යුතුය.
එබැවින් අප මෙම කාරණා මනසේ තබාගෙන ජීවත් වනවා සේම, අන්යයන්ගේ පැවැත්ම උදෙසා වැඩකරන ජනතාවගේ මංගල්ය දිනයේදී අයුක්තියට එරෙහිව අපි දිගටම සටන් කිරීමට ශක්තිය සියල්ලන්ට ලැබේවා
