• We were Established in 2000 with support from NGO NAFSO Upon the arrest of one of 10 community members| husbands in India > they got together to release their husbands from jail by organizing people concerned to raise the voice to demand for human rights of the arrested fishermen.
VISION: Sri Vimukthi Fisher Women Organization envisions a free, just and Prosperous society, where resources are distributed equality, and justice, peace and human rights Prevail for all People regardless of race, Caste, religion and gender.
Mission: Build Women leadership in a fisher People's movement in order to search an alternative to the existing development model which is harmful to the human beings, animals and to our environment.
Objectives:

realization of Women’s rights in the national Policy for Sustainable fisheries
and land rights that is grounded on human rights.

capacitate a national fishers movement and build Women leadership in it for their
own development and that of other vulnerable sectors.

සංවිධානයේ ඉතිහාසය: ඉන්දියාවේ ප්‍රජා සාමාජිකයන්ගේ ස්වාමිපුරුෂයන් 10 දෙනෙකු අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමෙන් පසු අපි 2000 දී නැෆ්සෝ සහාය ඇතිව අපගේ සංවිධානය
ආරම්භ කළෙමු. අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් ධීවරයින්ගේ මානව හිමිකම් ඉල්ලා හඩ නැගීමට අදාළ පුද්ගලයින් සංවිධානය කරමින් ඔවුන්
තම ස්වාමිපුරුෂයන් සිරෙන් නිදහස් කිරීමට එක්විය.
දැක්ම: සම්පත් සමානාත්මතාවය බෙදා හරින නිදහස් යුක්ති සහගත සමෘද්ධිමත්
සමාජයක් ශ්‍රී විමුක්ති ධීවර කාන්තා සංවිධානය අපේක්ෂා කරයි. ජාතිය කුලය ආගම සහ ස්ත්‍රී පුරුෂ
